Welcome to Swim Rotorua Swim Club
A non profit organisation based at the Rotorua Aquatic Centre.
We are a whanau friendly Swim Club with a strong emphasis on developing our members to become confident swimmers, we do this by providing various opportunities for them to push themselves to grow their ability in the water.
Swimmers will also learn valuable life skills like team work, resilience, perseverance and determination.

For our Junior swimmers, you are welcome to do all the days however we are targeting the Saturday with our Juniors (12 & U) and swimmers new to racing.
There will be no coach there on the Friday Night, Tara will be there both Saturday & Sunday.
If you have issues registering please contact Tara, we would highly recommend to get your entries in this week.

Club Night – This Thursday
We have a club night this Thursday. The flyer is attached with all the details.
Upcoming Swim Meet – Splash for Cash
Our next swim meet is Splash for Cash, which is being held next weekend, 27–28 June.
You can find the flyer HERE Entries are completed through Fastlane and close on Tuesday 23 June.
Training Time Change
Due to club night this Thursday (25th), Training times for groups in the outdoor pool will now be:
Rising stars: 3:30-4:50pm
Teenfit: 4:50-5:45pm
Development & Performance: 3:45-5:45pm
There will also be no Training on Friday Morning the 26th for all groups. Afternoon Session as normal.
Junior Days
Our first two junior events were very successful.
For swimmers who are currently registered as competitive swimmers, we recommend entering the Splash for Cash meet next weekend.
For swimmers who will be new to competitive swimming, the first event we recommend is the Swim BOP Showdown, which runs from 14–16 August. For new swimmers, we would recommend attending on Saturday 15 August.
We are also looking into doing a bus trip to the first of the Classic Meets, which will be held in Whakatāne on 20 September.
Competitive Membership
The Swimming New Zealand/Fastlane competitive membership runs from 1 July to 30 June and is required for swimmers wanting to enter local, regional, and national swim meets.
For Bay of Plenty swimmers, the current annual competitive membership is $107 per swimmer, which is paid through Fastlane.
